Each cottage has a unique ocean view and a fabulous patio to enjoy a great BBQ or an evening under the stars listening to the cry of the loons and the peaceful lull of the waves of beautiful St. Margaret’s Bay. We have gone out of our way to pay attention to details that are so important to a seaside vacation. The furnishings are exceptionally comfortable, the kitchens fully equipped, and the bedrooms decorated with seashell bedspreads and nautical pictures. Your treasure chest is full of games, puzzles, books, cosy blankets and beach towels.
The evenings can be spent gathered on the oceanfront around the bon-fire or having our famous “party in a pot,” which includes our oceanfront cooker, a huge pot full of fresh ocean water to cook all the lobster you can eat. We have seen some great family photos of the” party in a pot” with all our guests dressed in our lobster bibs, tools in hands, platters loaded with brilliant red lobsters that are guaranteed to make your mouth water (butter dishes, lobster cutters and tablecloths all included). Imagine all this under a soft pink sunset sky, surrounded by friends and family, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
When you awake the next day from a restful sleep we will be here at your service to help plan an exciting day touring the beautiful South Shore of Nova Scotia and the City of Halifax.
Or if you choose you can simply pull up a brightly coloured Adirondack Chair, read a book, watch your kids fish from the wharf or play on the beach. The rails to trails are a minute away which provide a gorgeous hiking, cycling and nature walking experience. We have kayak outfitters and guided tours readily available.
