There are numerous courses which are easily accessible from Larinda’s Landing and promise to please even the most discriminating golfer. Hiking
The old Annapolis Hiking Trail winds it’s way through 2.6kms. of wooden bridges, hardwood trees and photo vistas. A nature lover’s palette!! You are sure to encounter flora, fauna and wildlife unique to Nova Scotia on this spectacular trail which is owned and well maintained by Bowater Mersey and only minutes from Larinda’s Landing. You can end a beautiful day of enjoying nature and tranquility with a swim in beautiful Sandy Lake and then satisfy your tastebuds with one of our customized “Healthy Hikers” or “Romantic Rendevous” picnics. Cycling
The Lighthouse Route is a favourite of cyclists in and around Nova Scotia. With it’s many trails and scenic coastline, this popular cycling route will provide several different levels and challenges, depending on your preference. You can also enter the Canada-wide “Rails to Trails” and cycle across miles upon miles of old Nova Scotia railway line. Bicycle rentals, self guided or group tours can be customized and organized at Larinda’s Landing, for your convenience.

Fishing
Cast a line from our on-site wharf, where the Ingramport River meets the Atlantic ocean or charter a private vessel for deep sea fishing. Meet a group of new friends for a day of great fun, fishing stories and possibly even a few “true” catches to cook up at your home away from Larinda’s Landing. If your day of excitement has left you too exhausted to cook, our amazing chef will prepare your dinner to your specifications with our unique “Catch and Release” menu. Designed specifically, so you can catch some fun and release the work. Any of these outdoor experiences can be arranged and organized at Larinda’s Landing.

Horseback Riding
Within twenty-five minutes of Larinda’s Landing you’ll arrive at Hatfield Farms. The authentic ranch style setting of this farm will excite equestrian buffs of all ages and levels. Trail, wagon or pony rides, there is something for everyone, complete with mechanical bucking bronco and horsedrawn wagon ride. This is a “must do” if you’re looking for a unique outdoor adventure.

Kayaking
Rivers, lakes or the open ocean…Nova Scotia is a kayaker’s dream destination. From novice to seasoned paddler, there’s plenty of opportunity to blend with nature, ride the waves, or explore the stunning coastline. There are several outfitters and operators in the area. Don’t hesitate to utilize our services to plan a day of outstanding customized kayaking packages, with or without one of our decadent picnics, prepared especially for you at our on-site restaurant.

10 minutes away, Kayak and Mountain Bikes are available for rental and can be delivered to Larinda’s Landing prior to your arrival, for your use. All payments for these services will be the responsibility of the guest at the time of use.
